GIRL SCOUTS CARE ABOUT GOOD HEALTH GIRL SCOUT COOKIE FACTS By the 2007 Girl Scout Cookie season, ALL Girl Scout cookies will have zero trans fat. FDA regulations stipulate that a serving with less than 0.5 grams of trans fat be declared as zero. Reduced Fat Cartwheels, oatmeal rounds with cinnamon burst, contain no partially hydrogenated vegetable oil whatsoever. So that consumers can make an informed choice, the ingredients and nutritional profile of each cookie variety are clearly listed on the cookie box, the cookie order form and on each baker's website Girl Scouts care about this issue personally. As we move forward in eliminating trans fat, we ask for continued support of the Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program, which not only funds essential services for Girl Scout troops, groups and 2.7 million individual girls worldwide, but it provides girls with hands-on experience in many life skills such as teamwork, goal-setting, money management, oral presentation skills, customer service, and much more. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program girls build courage, confidence, and character. COOKIE SALE PROGRAM FUNDS:
